How We Use Claude Code to Write Cold Email from 708,000 Data Points
We pointed Claude Code at 708,000 emails and found out our best-looking campaigns were our worst. Here's everything that surprised us, and the copy system we run on that data now.
The full 13-minute walkthrough, including the bonus 10th principle that isn't in the written guide.
How this analysis came together
Everstage is an AI-powered incentive compensation management platform. We've run cold email campaigns for them for about 4 months and built up a big data set. We're sending over 1 million emails a month for them now.
I opened a Claude Code session, pointed it at Outbound (our internal analytics platform), and told it to analyze everything we had on Everstage. It went through 708,000 emails across 16 campaigns and 30+ variants and gave me a full performance breakdown.
What it found contradicted almost everything we thought was working.
The cold email copy skill, the conversation export, and every framework in this guide.
The clients behind this data
- •16 campaigns and 30+ variants tested in the first few months
- •Now sending 1M+ emails per month for them
- •One subject line responsible for 9 out of 16 meetings
- •50 million cold emails sent this year
- •Fyxer AI: 9 million emails per month at peak
- •Fyxer AI, RB2B, Directive Consulting, and more
The 9 Principles
Nine findings from 708,000 emails, each one checked against meetings data.
There's a 10th principle. It's only in the video.
Nine principles made it into this written guide. One didn't. It's the part where I show you how Claude Code connects to our data, the skill layer underneath it, and how the AI actually writes the campaigns. You have to watch it to see it work.
The full breakdown is at the top of this page.
