58,000 Cold Emails in the First 24 Days for a Private Investor Marketplace
We ran 10 copy variants across 3 investor ICPs, found two messages that worked, and got 53 positive replies in the first 24 days. All of it inside Gamma Prime's strict "no recommendations" compliance rules.
01At a Glance
Gamma Prime at a Glance
Gamma Prime connects family offices and ultra-high-net-worth investors with vetted private-market opportunities.
"We are running a private community of family offices and of ultra high net worth individuals. Currently there is around 850 people there, all of whom we have validated their capital."
02The Challenge
The Challenge
Before SAS, Gamma Prime had three problems:
1. A huge underused asset
"We now are sitting on a big pile of emails and of user data... The problem is that we are not utilizing this... this is something that we were hoping to fix with you."
2. Deliverability scar tissue
An earlier cold email push got their domain penalized over bounce rates. They moved to a new domain and were skeptical about trying cold email again.
3. A high-trust, heavily constrained market
"It's a business based on big trust, right?"
Deals in this market close on relationships. And as a capital-introduction business, Gamma Prime "cannot recommend any investment. Absolutely not." They can present an opportunity. They can't tell anyone what to buy.
So the brief was simple: use cold email to start real conversations with one of the hardest audiences in the world to reach, and do it without burning domains, breaking compliance rules, or costing them trust.
03The Mechanism
The Mechanism: Our Game Plan
Month one was a sprint to find message-market fit. We weren't there to blast and hope.
1. Right tier, not biggest tier
We talked them out of our own higher-volume option and put Gamma Prime on the Seed tier (~100K emails/month). A UHNW and family-office TAM burns out fast, so what we learned per send mattered more than raw volume.
2. Deliverability first
- →Dedicated domains and 22–30 day warm-ups, the longest in our portfolio at the time.
- →Contact pool split ~50/50 across the two big mailbox providers so we could watch performance and saturation on each.
3. Three ICPs, three inboxes
We used Gamma Prime's targeting spec to source and validate fresh prospect lists, then split them three ways. Each split got its own campaign and sending lane:
4. Ten copy variants, one job: let the market decide
10 single-touch variants with different hooks, pain points, CTAs, and subject lines. All of them stayed inside Gamma Prime's compliance rules and their "value first" philosophy:
"Typically how we have been doing that is exactly in the way of like provide value 10 times and, and then maybe on the 11th time you can ask something."
5. Offer reframed for trust and regulation
"Invest now" is too much, too fast for a cold investor, so we changed the ask to "see what experienced investors are already looking at." Gamma Prime never recommends a specific investment, and the copy stayed on that line.
6. Fast feedback loop
- →Launch date: April 22, 2026
- →First positive lead within hours
- →Seven positive leads by the end of day one

04The Proof
No BS Numbers
All numbers cover the first 24 days, from the Apr 22 launch through the May 15 wind-down. A "lead" = a positive reply.

Winners and losers
Ratios from the founders & executives campaign, the largest of the three, as published.
Variants 3 and 9 won or placed in every ICP. The message traveled.
All metrics come from Sales Automation Systems' internal campaign analytics for the April–May 2026 sprint.
05Learnings
What We Learned & The 70-20-10 Plan
1. The same two messages won three times
Variants 3 and 9 won or placed in every ICP. The same psychology worked on founders, investors, and family offices.
2. Deliverability discipline showed up in reply quality
The long warm-up paid off in real human conversations instead of bot noise. When one list source ran out ~30 days in, reply rates dipped. That's a TAM ceiling, not copy fatigue.
3. The economics are obvious when ACV is high
Six-to-seven figure ACV against a $5K/month campaign. One closed deal can pay for the program for years.
So we designed the plan Gamma Prime could scale with next:
70-20-10 volume allocation (a plan we designed, not results we ran)
06Client Perspective
Client Perspective
Gamma Prime found us through our own content on AI-driven outbound:
"It's nice to see your YouTube video about how you're using [Claude] for basically increasing the output of your cold outreaching... I was amazed by it and then I went to your website... which is why I scheduled a meeting with you."
And on what working together felt like:
"I've sent you email on Sunday and then I received reply in like five minutes."
"One thing I like about you Americans is that you don't have any work life balance."
"Hi guys onboarding has been pretty smooth so all good there."
07Is This a Fit?
If You're Sitting on a List Like This
If you are a B2B founder or growth lead with:
- →A large, underused list
- →Scar tissue from past cold email attempts
- →A high-trust, high-ticket offer where one relationship pays for years
...you don't need another campaign built on guesses. You need a 30-day sprint that:
- →Protects your domains
- →Splits your ICPs correctly
- →Tests enough variants to find the real winners
- →Shows you the losers so you stop wasting sends
Then you leave with a plan to scale that's backed by your own numbers.
